Wienk Charolais is located near Lake Preston, a rural farming community in east-central South Dakota.  Lake Preston is approximately 90 miles northwest of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Wienk Charolais was established in 1958 with the introduction of one Charolais bull into a herd of Hereford cows.  It has since grown to more than 350 purebred Charolais cattle with additional ET calves.  Wienk Charolais takes pride in their honesty and integrity, which has helped them become a leader in the breed.

A bull sale is held each April and a female sale is held each September.  Stop by any time, visitors are always welcome.
